iPOSTCARDS FROM VATICAN CITY

“If it’s Sunday, this must be the Vatican.”… We found ourselves back at the Vatican on a Sunday, so unfortunately we were not able to see the Sistine Chapel which was closed, but fortunately, after seeing Michelangelo’s Pieta in St. Peter’s Basilica, were able to see the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, come out of his window to give us his blessing right at 12 noon. “Viva el Papa!”
